In preparation for Money in the Bank, the WWE roster is in full swing to secure spots in the upcoming ladder matches. Two triple-threat qualifiers set the stage, with IYO SKY and Jey Uso emerging victorious to claim their spots in the 2024 Money in the Bank ladder matches.

The women’s qualifier saw SKY face off against Zelina Vega and Kiana James, in a closely contested match where SKY capitalized on Liv Morgan’s distraction of Vega to secure her win with an impressive Over the Moonsault. SKY, who won last year’s Money in the Bank and successfully cashed in at SummerSlam, looks to repeat her success in Toronto.

On the men’s side, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, and Jey Uso battled in a high-energy match. Mysterio seemed poised to win after executing multiple 619s, but interference from Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day thwarted his chances.

Balor then landed a Coup de Grace on Mysterio, only to fall victim to Uso’s Uso Splash, allowing Uso to pin Balor and secure his spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Each ladder match will feature six participants, evenly split between “WWE Raw” and “WWE SmackDown.” Looking ahead, Kairi Sane, Shayna Baszler, and Lyra Valkyria are set to compete in a women’s qualifying match on “Raw,” while Braun Strowman, Chad Gable, and Bronson Reed will vie for a spot in the men’s ladder match.

As anticipation builds for Money in the Bank, these qualifying matches promise to intensify as superstars from both brands vie for the opportunity to secure the coveted Money in the Bank contract.
