Je’Von Evans Wins Dramatic WWE NXT Battle Royal, Secures NXT Championship Shot

This week’s “WWE NXT” had a big surprise with TNA Wrestling stars Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian joining the opening battle royal. Despite their exciting entry, neither of them won. Instead, Je’Von Evans came out on top.

The match took an intense turn early on when Ethan Page confronted Hendry. However, before Page could attack, Oro Mensah intervened, seeking revenge and igniting a brawl that distracted Page and led to several competitors teaming up to eliminate Hendry from the match.

As the competition narrowed down, the final four contestants were Je’Von Evans, Shawn Spears, Dragon Lee, and Frankie Kazarian. Evans managed to eliminate Kazarian dramatically, then turned his attention to Dragon Lee. Their exchange of strikes ended when Spears intervened, throwing Lee out of the ring.

In the climactic moments, Spears attempted a springboard dive, only for Evans to counter with a superkick followed by a flying knee. With Spears dazed, Evans capitalized by throwing him over the top rope, thus earning the right to challenge Trick Williams for the NXT Championship at the upcoming “NXT” Heatwave event on July 7, 2024.
