Xavier Woods, a seasoned figure in professional wrestling, recently marked a significant milestone: two decades in the industry. Reflecting on this achievement via social media, the former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion expressed both gratitude and nostalgia.

“Twenty years goes by way faster than you think,” he remarked, emphasizing that this summer marks his twentieth year in professional wrestling. Woods began his journey straight out of high school, balancing a rigorous schedule on the independent circuit while pursuing a college education.

His big break came when he debuted at TNA Bound For Glory during his senior year, eventually securing a contract with the promotion after negotiating a schedule that accommodated his studies.

Woods successfully graduated from college, becoming a TNA World Tag Team Champion before parting ways with the company. A brief stint in the indies and New Japan Pro-Wrestling followed before he signed with WWE in 2010, a move that would define his career trajectory.

Despite his extensive tenure, Woods remains driven and ambitious. He expressed a desire to achieve a singles title in WWE, a goal that has eluded him during his nearly 15 years with the company.

Currently, he finds himself embroiled in a heated feud involving The Final Testament’s Karrion Kross and The Authors of Pain, obstacles preventing him and his New Day partner Kofi Kingston from contending for tag team gold.
