Ariana Madix Responds to Tom Sandoval’s Dropped Lawsuit on “Watch What Happens Live”

Ariana Madix addressed Tom Sandoval’s lawsuit during her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen. When asked about the legal battle initiated by her ex-boyfriend, Madix described the day she found out as “a really bad day.”

She dated Sandoval for nearly a decade, but their relationship ended after she discovered his affair with their “Vanderpump Rules” co-star, Raquel Leviss, by finding intimate videos on his phone.

Leviss subsequently sued both Madix and Sandoval in February for various claims, including revenge porn, emotional distress, and invasion of privacy, which they denied. Sandoval escalated the situation further in July when he sued Madix, accusing her of accessing explicit footage on his phone without his permission.

However, Sandoval later dropped the lawsuit, alleging that his lawyer had misled him into filing it. When Cohen questioned Madix about Sandoval’s explanation, she responded with an exaggerated shrug and said, “I don’t know.”

Madix has maintained her composure amid the legal drama, which has been praised by fans on social media who have called her response “classy” and “gracious.” Despite the tension, Madix has chosen not to engage deeply with the controversy, offering minimal commentary during her public appearances. One fan even noted that Madix seemingly didn’t want to hear her ex’s name mentioned during the interview.

In contrast to Madix’s measured reaction, some of her “Vanderpump Rules” co-stars have been vocal about their opinions on the situation. Katie Maloney speculated that Sandoval was fully aware of the consequences of his lawsuit, especially considering that he deactivated his Instagram ahead of time.

Scheana Shay also criticized Sandoval, suggesting that his legal actions contradicted any remorse he may have shown during the reunion special.

Madix’s lawyer also publicly condemned Sandoval’s actions, accusing him of “tormenting” her. While Madix has chosen to stay relatively quiet, her co-stars and legal team have made it clear they believe Sandoval’s behavior is vindictive, further deepening the rift between the former couple.
