Kevin Spacey has spoken out in a new interview about his tumultuous years, addressing allegations of inappropriate behavior and denying claims of illegal behavior. The Oscar-winning actor has been accused of sexual misconduct by numerous individuals, with some allegations dating back decades. In his first interview in seven years, Spacey maintained that he has nothing left to hide and is eager to clear his name.

The documentary “Spacey Unmasked,” which will debut on Channel 4 in May, features testimony from men who claim to have been the victims of Spacey’s unwanted sexual advances. However, Spacey vehemently denied these allegations, stating, “I’ve never told someone that if they give me sexual favors, then I will help them out with their career, never.” He also claimed that some individuals who made allegations against him were simply trying to gain politically or professionally.

Spacey also discussed his experiences with his charitable foundation, which he said allowed him to make a positive impact on the lives of others. He acknowledged that he may have made some poor decisions in the past, but emphasized that none of his actions were illegal.

The actor expressed frustration and disappointment that he has been unable to get back to work after being acquitted of all criminal charges. He described his experience as a “life sentence,” stating, “I can’t go through this again, allowing myself to be baselessly attacked without defending myself.” Spacey claimed that he has repeatedly asked Channel 4 for more time to respond to the allegations made against him in the documentary, but the broadcaster refused.

Despite the challenges he has faced, Spacey remains defiant, stating, “I take full responsibility for my past behavior and my actions, but I cannot and will not take responsibility or apologize to anyone who’s made up stuff about me or exaggerated stories about me.”
